Some HOAs require your dryer vent to be cleaned on a schedule. It’s a good idea, especially if your unit’s a condo and you share walls. If you have a dryer fire, they have one too.
I like cleaning dryer vents. It’s satisfying. One thing I do while I’m there is inspect your vent, as much as I can. It should be made out of metal, and if it’s not, I’ll recommend upgrades. For one thing, if any of your vent is made out of white vinyl, it needs to go. It melts.
